Ghost Of The Sun by kaoticum Ghost Of The Sun by kaoticum
An old picture I took last summer. Hope you like it.

Truth is I have seen it come
Seen the ghost of the sun
Can't have it undone
In time we all call out for relief
See two lovers meet
Pass you on the street

Oh wow, I absolutely love the colors of the sky in this one, and the mountains in the back give it some nice depth, and the placement of that tree is perfect, all in all, it's a great shot.
keep it up! :D

This is beautiful. I see that you've used 28mm for this picture. It would be even better if you used somewhere around 18mm...but nonetheless a nice picture all round :D

This is nice, but a little dark, it would have been nice if the sky was a little brighter, or there was a little more contrast

We must have totally different screens. Here the picture's pretty light. *confused*

Oh, I didn't mean that it was dark as in shadowy, but dark as in a little low contrast -- the midtones might have washed it out a little in the upper third of the picture - see how the top gets alittle grey? Thats all I'm talking about.

seems like a nice photo but i have a small complaints/critique. First, I don't think there is enough contrast in this photo. It seems a bit too dark for my tastes. Also, having the horzion in the middle sort of bugs me, yet I also see how it contributes to this piece. but overall, i like the tree and the bit of orange in the sky :D

this picture has a quiet aura around it, beckoning you to take a walk through the fields at sunset and to enjoy what nature has to offer you...

A great shot!

A few things here:

1. Make sure your horizon is horizontal, not tilted at all. It's really noticeable.
2. More sky. All that dark dark land should be cut (about the bottom 1.5 inches of the image), but keep the tracks running through the grass. The sky and horizon are much more interesting than dark land ;)

Good image, great colors, neat location. You could probably just crop this a bit and it'd be much more effective.
